Now, she is missing. At approximately 1PM ET, Jade and her ginger tabby simply disappeared, and not since a <span class=\"waslinkname\"><ins>false copyright claim<\/ins><\/span> took down the YouTube channel for a few days last year has the Lofi Girl fandom been this abuzz.<\/p>\n<div id=\"5dc364d2cc884130b50468f43226b84c\">\n<p><figure class=\"iframe-container\">[embedded content]<\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In her absence, the stream began to slowly zoom in on a window found on one of the buildings opposite Jade\u2019s home. A blinking blue light produced a morse code that fans found points to <span class=\"waslinkname\"><ins>www.lofiworld.com<\/ins><\/span>. As of the writing of this article, there\u2019s not much to see. Clicking the \u201cLaunch\u201d button redirects you to a second <span class=\"waslinkname\"><ins>Lofi Girl stream<\/ins><\/span> that\u2019s playing ambient music. The stream features a clock that\u2019s counting down to April 11th at 1PM ET. Outside of that, there\u2019s not much to go on. The room is bathed in blue light and filled with early aughts memorabilia, including a Gunpla model from <span class=\"waslinkname\"><em><ins>Mobile Suit Gundam Wing<\/ins><\/em><\/span> and a <span class=\"waslinkname\"><ins>Nintendo GameCube<\/ins><\/span>. What it all points to, no one knows yet other than an elaborate marketing campaign.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"end-legacy-contents\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the day, Team AMW, the marketing agency that represents the Lofi Girl channel, <span class=\"waslinkname\"><ins>published a press release<\/ins><\/span> promising a \u201csurprise\u201d on April 11th that would take the channel\u2019s \u201cimmersive experience to new heights.\u201d As <span class=\"waslinkname\"><em><ins>Polygon <\/ins><\/em><ins>notes<\/ins><\/span>, there\u2019s already <span class=\"waslinkname\"><ins>official Lofi Girl merch<\/ins><\/span> you can buy, so there\u2019s probably something more involved on the horizon.
